Fun Facts About The Spanish Team

Some fun facts about the Spanish National football team that you probably didn’t know straight out of the players mouths. Enjoy!
About Pepe:
Iker Casillas: “His really good in penalties, almost to a sickly point, and it’s good that he doesn’t win (when they bet) because he wont talk about anything else for the rest of the day!”
Cazorla: “He believs in having a good time. His knows when to goof around and when to be serious. When he speaks everyone listen’s because his so charismatic.”
About Fernando Torres:
Villa: “You’d be lieing if you said you don’t get along with Torres. We debuted in the same team in the sub 21 against Andorra. We’ve always had a good relationship, which got even stronger during the Euro’s thanks to Pepe.
When we had free time, my family, Pepe’s, Fernando’s and sometimes Silva’s, would get together to eat. My wife Patricia grew to be good friends with Fernando’s girlfriend [now wife]. She loved her name so much that we named our second daughter that.”
About Güiza:
Xabi Alonso: “Dani’s jokes or pranks are good to break tension. Those type of people are necessary.”
Senna: “Every team needs someone like Dani. Even when his not talking he makes everyone happy.”
Cesc: “I laugh a lot with him. His never in his room and wherever you go, there he is.”
About Cesc:
Xavi: “He gets distracted easily. One day we were in Serbia, everyone was already in the bus to head back to Spain. We didn’t have much time left and several minutes later Cesc was getting on the bus. The guy had overslept!”
Another interesting team story is when Alvaro Arbeloa took a taxi to a hotel, he got out and began talking to the press as he continued walking. When he finally got inside with the rest of the team everyone noticed he didn’t have his luggage. He had to call the taxi back and get his luggage.
Needless to say, it must of been a very embarrassing (although hilarious) moment in Arbeloa’s life.
The last tidbit from the article claims that Carles Puyol has christened the team “Team Sushi”, because more than half the team love to eat the Japanese delicacy.
